With the mindset of kids these days, how will the CFP affect recruiting for teams that aren't in the Playoff?

I don’t know about the kids, but the coaches probably have a little easier.
Instead of prepping for SECCG CNS and staff can focus this week on recruiting. When the early signing period rolls around, they’re prepping for the NotsoPremier Bowl instead of a CFP game. CNS has said before how the playoff puts you at a disadvantage.
Lose the semi, immediately go into full time finish up the class mode. Win the semi, split your time again.

With the early signing period in home visits by CNS and key recruiters would seem to be ultra important to ensure a commit signs the line on the 18th....I would think playing in the conference championship and prepping for an all important playoff game would make it much more difficult.

LSU and Ga are surely going to exploit it to the fullest.
LOL - What would they say? Alabama missed the CFP for the first time in its history because they lost 2 games by a total of 8 points? No recruit considering Alabama is going to give a statement like that any credence. Any who do - well, frankly, they probably were not going to pick Alabama anyway.

IMO, negative recruiting only works if a player is looking for a reason not to pick a school. It doesn't sway guys who are seriously considering a school.
