Robert Kennedy Jr will be speaking at the Bryant Conference center today at 1pm. (Sellars Auditorium)

I like to go to stuff like this....though I doubt I will ever be voting for him.

I can't do it. He's the third dingleberry. I can't be pro-dingleberry.
Yeah, my original post in this thread was basically a non-starter since I have no plans on voting for anybody in November. Granted, something could happen between now and then that could change that, but it would have to be something cataclysmic.

My response to the thread title is: So?
Irrelevant descendant from a fortune derived from bootlegging. He has to do something to distinguish himself, even more so than the average Joe IMO, and all he’s shown is that he’s willing to hop on any looney bandwagon to gain notoriety. Nope, nope and nope.
His occupations listed on Wiki are environmental lawyer, writer, anti-vax activist.
The first and last go together like oil and water.
Again - nope.

this is rich coming from a kennedy

"When I was your age, the essential promise of the American dream was that if you worked hard, you played by the rules, you could finance a home," Kennedy said. "You could raise a family. You could have a summer vacation. You could put something aside for retirement. And there's nobody in your generation who believes that that promise applies to them."

Anti-vaxx kook. He likened vaccines to the "holocaust".

I was once a big RFK Jr fan, but I think he lost his marbles along the way.

And, oh yeah. Trump/Biden, both sides.
You know you can make that dumb joke, but RFK Jr is a democrat. Well he has that D beside his name. Then again so did Trump until he decided to run for office.

There is something severely broken in this country when our choices for president are 2 ancient old men or a complete wack job.

To be fair, his grandfather worked really hard bootlegging.

I won’t even give you but one guess as to why it’s broken….it is both the source of this (and almost all) other problems and the obstacle to resolving them.
I’ll take Money for 1000, Alex/Ken/Mayim/who’s next.

He obviously wasn’t my age…

that is pretty astounding talking about hard work coming from one as entitled as that............never hit an honest lick at a snake.......ever.
It shows how little he thinks of the voters’ intellects to think he could say it and not be called on it. Either a brain the size of a walnut or cojones the size of a cantaloupe.

I will take rich and totally disconnected with reality and a touch of stupidity for $200 alex

About 15 years or so ago, I first started following RFK, Jr. He was really big on water quality issues, and conservation. At the time, I thought he might be presidential material. I don't know if he got dropped on his head in the following years, but he has become.a complete nutjob.

I was aware of his activities back then, and I was always waiting to hear more of him about his accomplishments in this area - years and years of crickets.
Then he pops up as an anti-vaxxer, and I just assumed he drank highly contaminated water samples by mistake.
Now he thinks he’s Presidential material (I know, Trump set the bar pretty low), maybe he’s been bathing in the Mississippi River down around Venice.

One of these is not like the others—the one promoting dictatorship. Had father and uncles fighting dictators in WW2. History is fascinating to study.
