There is a stomach virus sweeping across the country. Lasts about 12 hours, but it wipes you out...
My son and I had this on Dec. 23 and it lasted about 6 hours for him and about 12 for me. Let's hope this is what they had as we were both fine as soon we could eat again.

Tuesday until Thursday should be plenty of time to get back on their feet 100%! I hope like heck that they kept them quarantined! There seems to be a 2-4 day incubation period. We don't need anyone else getting it! I will say that even after cleaning up when my son did his projectile expulsion down the hallway, my husband didn't get sick. We both literally bathed in bleach and Lysol! I am pretty sure my son and I got it from my nephews the night they spent with us--hubs and daughter were not there. Lysol is a MUST to keep the virus away!

Get well Ro and Woodson!:BigA:

We had 5 people of 11 at a dinner party get it with similar recovery experiences...
With everyone I know who had it, the younger you were the quicker you recovered! I hope that 20 year olds are in the "younger" age bracket as far as this is concerned.

We had to take Phenergan and Imodium--anything less potent that that was a "waste" and I mean that literally.

JessN never did a dept chart for this game that I could find. If this turns out to be more serious, what would be the back-up plan? Would Nico move over, or would Jerrell Harris or Chris Jordan step in?

Why don't we just flip out?
Who is flipping out? As an Alabama fan, I away expect the worst case scenario. I hope that he can play, and I think that he will. I was just wondering what people this we would do if he couldn't go.

If he's alive, he will play.

I'm sure he's getting plenty of medical attention. If it's a stomach virus, I'm sure he will be fine by game time.

Look on the bright side, it could have been worse. He have gotten it Thursday.
Bad thing is, who else has he spread it to. What has been the time frame from exposure that some of you have noticed who have had it. Ro will be fine. I'm sure he's had every IV stuck in him possible to keep from getting completely down. I assure you our medical staff can deal with a 24 hr virus and getting said player back in shape to play.

With the series tied at 2-2, Michael Jordan woke up for Game 5 in Utah and was sick as a dog. He had the flu. He also had a game to play. People wondered how a guy who could barely stand could play in a pivotal game.
But play he did. Jordan logged 44 minutes and scored 38 points, including the game-winning three-pointer, further cementing his legacy as the NBA's most clutch player.
just sayin'
