The Unipolitical Bumper Sticker

Run! Hillary! Run!

Dems put it on their rear bumpers.
Repubs put it on their front bumper

That's great!

Speaking of bumper stickers, I love this one:

She's becoming a Conservative.

She wants my vote.

Hold that donkey by the tail. Hil has been spouting off on abortion lately, and spouting out of both sides of her mouth (both ears, too, maybe). She attends a pro-life meeting and confesses she could vote against killing full-term babies. She goes to pro-choice meeting and blames George Bush for rising abortion rate --- because he cut family planning funds. If she ever gets off abortion I will be able to give you a more accurate reading on her mental state.

I dont think that she has really changed that much. Someone on one of the news shows (I think it was on Scarborough Country) last night was quoting her from her Village book from about 8 or 10 years ago and it sounded just like what she is saying now.

Bamaro,

On this we agree. Hillary has not been inconsistent. She is also not her husband, taking a poll to determine her stand on an issue. However, she is a bleeding heart liberal with socialist tendencies...

I'm not convinced of that. As a youngster she was, but then so was I when I was late teens. Liberal special interests would have her ear more than conservative ones would, that much is certain, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that she is some uberliberal.

But lest you think I'm marching in front of her bandwagon, I would never vote for the woman.

Like I said before, by the time she announces she is running, cnn will be calling her Ronald Reagans heir. As painful as it is though I have to agree with you Bamaro. She really hasnt and wont change. She will always be a radical kook. I know you could never support her yourself, seeing how you think our current president lies.

My point was that some of the quotes from her book, which mirror some of the things she has been saying lately, are anything but liberal. I'm not trying to say that she is not liberal, just that some of her beliefs are more conservative than you would think.

I dont really remember the specifics but they were in her book. All I know is that it surprised me when I heard them. They dealt with things like religion and family values

Well, now, the liberals aren't going to like Hillary any more, and the conservatives ain't going to be fooled for a minute. Doesn't leave much room for votes now, does it?

Is there something about politicians that makes them just genetically incapable of getting a clue, or is it just Hillary?

Hold that thought. If anyone wants to learn a little more about the true Hillary, try reading "Rewriting History" by Dick Morris. Many will be quick to point out that since 2000, the Clintons and Morris have parted ways. However, Morris has known Hillary for 30 years and has helped her become the shrewd politician she is. Morris detail's "Hillary's mask" in which she appears to move further toward the center/right to make herself more appealing on a national level, gearing up for 2008.
