Anything that will cause Russia to lose the war, or cause his supporters to turn on him if he does not end the war, will be considered an act of war. He has already decided he will win this. We will either have to face him or allow him to take Ukraine. Everything else is just prolonging the inevitable.

Exactly what I've been saying. We may as well go on and put in the no-fly zone and shoot them down. Or, we can meet him in the Baltics, after he's destroyed Ukraine. That's the real choice...

Griner currently plays for the Russian team, UMMC Ekaterinburg. Griner has played with the team since 2015 during the WNBA offseason. In five games this season, she is averaging 13.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
The star player, who won the WNBA championship with the Mercury in 2014, averaged 20.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game last season with Phoenix. Griner is also a two-time medalist at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Championship with Team USA.

I believe she was earning four times as much playing in Russia than she receives on her WNBA contract. Still, she overstayed her welcome and is now in a very difficult position.

She was arrested three weeks ago for cannabis vape cartridges. I think she was trying to get out before the war went down. I’m sure Putin will try to use her as a political pawn in some way.
