Saban's Story About Bobby Bowden

If you can get access to it, the story Saban told today about Bowden is very good.

Basically:

When Saban's father died, Saban was a grad assistant at Kent State. Saban went home to be with his family, and Bowden called and offered to create a position at WVU so that Saban could work and be close to his family.

This has nothing to do with Saban, and may be "fictionalized", but did anyone catch "We Are Marshall"? It depicts Bowden as the coach of WVU, and he and his players put "M.U." in Marshall green on the backs of their helmets after the crash, even though, obviously they were/are huge in-state rivals (It'd be like us putting Auburns colors and insignia on the backs of our helmets)...

I would imagine it'd be hard for Hollywood to make this one up...pretty cool...

That was interesting to see. Could you imagine Auburn asking for film to learn the "wishbone" offense?

I watched that movie last night and that was VERY cool! I also noticed that they mentioned Bear Bryant in the movie also.
