I think single elimination is the best format for this. It prevents anyone from going too deep into a pitching rotation. Everyone has a legitimate chance and incentive to win and you typically get better games.

I would love to win the tournament but right now we are probably 1 win away from absolutely securing a Super host spot and I think Omaha should be the goal at this point forward. Teams like State are really the ones that really need to make noise this week
