Sen. John Fetterman is the best Democratic candidate for 2028, IMHO.....

I had mentioned Joe Manchin as another person I think would make a great POTUS.

Here's a very good segment from last night with some of his ideas and perspective.

9 minutes long and WELL worth watching, IMHO......

Statement from Sen. Fetterman’s Spokesperson:“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock.Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries.Senator Fetterman had this to say: ‘If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!’He is doing well and receiving routine observation at the hospital. He has opted to stay so doctors can fine-tune his medication regimen.Senator Fetterman is grateful for the EMTs, doctors, and nurses who are providing his care.”

The guy had V fib - a life threatening heart rhythm, BASICALLY....a heart attack.

But yes, let's minimize it by calling it a "fall", John.

John Fetterman is ten weeks older than I am. He's already had a stroke and a heart attack.

That's not somebody you want as President regardless of how much someone may like him. And I do sorta like him, although as I've said a lot of his reputation is based on misdirection.

As long has he has someone in place at Vice President, the country will be in good hands.

Vice President Tuberville would be well-suited to the job.

I reminds me of the oft-reported incident with elderly women with osteoporosis - "She fell and broke her hip," when what really happened was that her hip broke and caused her to fall...

Not trying to get into an argument --- but seems to me they were quite upfront on the entire health episode in the tweet.......

I love this man........he is so right here...... :)

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., joins “CUOMO” to discuss the impending vote by the House to push ahead with a GOP health care bill and the private briefing about Venezuela as the tension between the country and the U.S. continues to escalate.

I just told a cards buddy of mine about the mild v fib "flare up..."

I cannot print his response here under the TF guidelines!

Grateful for our U.S. military personnel that handled these orders in Venezuela with precision.

I maintain that we have the STRONGEST and MOST LETHAL military in the world—today proves that even more.

Unless we decide to invade and topple, Maduro will be replaced by another Chavista. And will Congress greenlight such an invasion?

I sure as Hell hope not. The Law of Unintended Consequences has bitten us in the ass multiple times in the past.
