Sherrone Moore being fired for cause by Michigan...

Can’t you hear the conversation if Brian Kelly was trying to convince Warde Manuel to hire him?

Kelly: “Look, I know I’m a sleaze. I’m a lowdown, good for nothing slime ball. You know that, I know that. My wife knows that. My kids too. Hell all of college football knows that. But look at the Michigan program. You hired and retained sleazy coaches for years. The way I see it, I’m a “Michigan Man” through and through. It’s a match made in heaven….”

Manuel: Welcome to Ann Arbor. Are you going to keep me in the loop or just blind side me later? I would prefer the latter. You know, plausible deniability and all that. Do me one favor, okay? No scissor lifts at practice…

Pate did comment a few weeks back there would be one no one expects.
I mean, I like Pate, but a bunch of what he says is on the level of a self professed psychic medium saying “you’ve lost someone close to you….”

There is basically always one that nobody expects. I highly highly doubt he talked to somebody at Michigan who told him the coach was gonna get fired but to sit on it for weeks.

Don't leave us hanging...
My fault for causing confusion with poor syntax.

Bro did not have the goods, his roommate from years ago DID. However, following the old school journo rules, he didn’t share them with bro.

And NOT following usual pattern, bro did not send me the “bomb coming for Michigan, pay attention” text hours earlier.

Again my bad - but he DID say at the time that “inappropriate relationship” was still a rumor (to the public), “It’s not a rumor, it’s confirmed and it’s bad,” but no more.

Every sports “journalist” I have listened to keep repeating the same thing when Asked. It is worse than when Saban was here.

-‘Who do you think Michigan will go after’
- talking head- Kalen DeBoer

- ‘why do you think that?’
- talking head- He is from the Midwest

Sheesh, leave our coaches name out yo mouth!

This is what I've caught wind of. Take everything with a grain of salt.

Moore got the girl pregnant and then forced an abortion. That was followed by him stalking her and doubling her salary.

Moore ending up going to her house with a knife threatening and abusing her.

Just a horrible situation. Hope the victim is ok. Some heavy stuff.

In general, this appears to be correct.

Bless their little hearts. Michigan is not even a top 5 job in college football. They have too many academic restrictions for that.

As a reminder:

This whole thing began when Michigan:
- couldn't stand not being able to win enough games
- began spying on the opponent sidelines
- converted that to a national championship
- the guy who oversaw it all jumped off the ship after winning said championship
- they had to rush hire someone - and nobody was going to question "the first black Michigan coach", the media reflexively praises that even if the coach is thoroughly unqualified (Moore had less head coaching experience than Mike DuBose did)
- they probably did little to no vetting at all
- now they're holding the heavy bag and Moore is going to have a police record at a minimum (and probably a divorce, too)

Buckle up for, "This is racist because the girl is white," because anyone who has observed press coverage for more than five minutes knows full well the Full Gaslight will be on and the U of Michigan will lead the parade. Get ready for "but Lane Kiffin." Get ready for how "this is someone's private life."

It's all coming, one right after the other.

Now they are going on and on about Deboer being their top candidate 🙄

Nicole Auerbach is banging that drum.

Here's the thing: except for the NIL resources, can anyone SERIOUSLY tell me Michigan is the better job, especially right now? Maybe the fact you have 3 games maximum in a given year.

Michigan was the better job in the 1950s probably through the end of our probation years.

But Michigan is about to hire their sixth head coach since 2007 (not including interims).
AUBURN just hired THEIR sixth head coach since 2007.
FLORIDA just hired THEIR sixth head coach since 2007.

Nebraska - for all their issues - has had four.
Texas - for all their issues - has had four.
Oklahoma - for all their issues - had had four.
LSU - for all their issues - is on number four.

If past is prologue, they'll botch this one, too.
