Show us your motorcycle(s)!

Where are all the other motorcycle folks here? I feel like a one man band or something! :D

Well after a few fairing repairs and some other stuff going on in my life, I finally got her out for a test ride around the neighborhood and she runs and rides fantastic! It's always gratifying when you do a long distance purchase without benefit of seeing or riding in person to have confirmation it was a good transaction.

Still needs a good detailing and some new shoes but otherwise she's actually in remarkable condition.

BTW...those little pipes sticking out the back of the mufflers are not factory. Some previous owner put them there. Not worried about it for the time being.

Very nice. I rode as a teenager. There is no way I would get on the road today with the amount of traffic we have here.

I think what helps is I don't use these as a daily driver. This gives me options on when and where to ride.

But I hear ya - too many poor drivers out there - many on their cell phones not paying attention.

I like going out after 7pm here - seems to be a sweet spot for avoiding traffic issues. :)

I'm not a motorcycle guy, but I do admire the machines @Bazza. How many do you have? Are you a collector in large quantities, or do you sell one as you get a new one? How long have you been collecting? Very cool hobby. :)
Thanks, @Bodhisattva. I'm not sure I am as much a collector as an "accumulator" lol - but I do need to start selling some at some point!

I want to get some photos of all my Blue bikes together and the same with the White ones. That will have to happen before any selling takes place.

I rode this one today - a '90 - first year of the 3rd Generation VFR.

The engineering by Honda is impressive! :)

Got the new scooter sorted out and test ride went great today! Had to put a different fuel tank on her - the one that came with it was unusable - full of little holes from rust! This Green one is the wrong color but will do until I get a White one for her.

Still needs a few small things done but stoked she's in such good condition overall.

That Yoshi is much louder than my others, too..... ;)

Finished some work up on this '86 that I picked up last Christmas Eve day.

I think some of the jets were clogged a bit due to the fuel tank stuff......so decided to swap the carbs out for a set I had on the shelf all ready to go. New fuel lines and fuel filter. Also did some repair work on the two lower fairings while they were off the bike. And cleaned the windscreen including removing that goofy "No Fear" sticker. Now just have to affix the correct HONDA decal on it. :)

I also had to do some work last week on a thing called a Starter Motor Clutch. It serves to move the engine crankshaft via starter motor and has three spring loaded rollers - one of which was sticking on some hardened grease. Luckily it just needed some cleaning.

Hopefully this one will be fine for a while and I can turn my attention to some others that need a few things done.

Really runs good now with these freshly rebuilt carbs --- and looks MUCH better with the proper color fuel tank!

The ride over to the tag office and back today went great! Love those new Metzeler tires! Got her re-titled and registered for 2 years. Got me for just under $200.

Always nice to get one that is complete and running. This one is still all original except for the Kerker exhaust, which sounds awesome! I did get the original exhaust with the bike too.

Came with both OEM tool kit and owners manual.

Proper GRAY seat in excellent condition. OEM turn signals and mirrors.

Can see the brake fluid & levels through both master sight glasses.

Has it's chain guard with all labels on it.

Came with 2 keys which both fit ALL 3 locks.

Fuel tank was almost full - that alone probably saved me a hundred bucks!
:D

Will need some minor attention to the fairings but not much.

Real pretty bike - stoked!!!
