If shy had a little more speed he'd be in the league, his football smarts are top notch, he knew and could play both safety, corner, and dime, so I believe the transition to coaching will be a natural one

one of my favorite moments watching football was when he broke up the 3rd down pass leading to 4th and kirby.

I find it interesting that some of the Universities greatest football ambassadors are from the state of Louisiana. I remember when Nick was in Baton Rouge and a discussion or two on this board concerning Nick’s recruiting of Jemarcus ‘Bama Boy’ Russell in particular and South Alabama in general! Times , they have changed!
