I told my wife yesterday that if Florida lost to Furman and I was Florida I would go ahead and cut my loses and fire Muschamp now. The Noles and the Longhorns are still very disappointing as well.:BigA:

I 'think' BamaBoots wants to know why have we not seen any 'fallout' in UT, UF, and FSU highly ranked recruiting classes? Why hasn't their bad on the field performances, or bad winning records not affected their highly ranked recruiting classes? I think we will see some decommits before NSD in their classes. That has already started up in the FSU commits and it can't help those schools with head to head battles with the highly ranked schools down the stretch to NSD.What's the question?
1. Texas
2. Florida State
3. Alabama
4. Florida

Right you are again Crimson Surfer. It amazes me that someone wants to go to an unproven commodity when they have a proven winner for an option. Especially when that option is in your own backyard. I would start to reevaluate what it is I had actually been sold.:BigA::conf3::BigA:

With all three there is still a "yea but" to go along with them. With florida it is yea but meyer left the cupboard bare. He ran a spread, muschamp wants to run a pro style offense like alabama. With fsu it is yea but jimbo is only in his second year and doesn't have all the pieces, he wanted to run a power offense like alabama not a shotgun passing spread and texas its the same way. Yea but, we are making a switch from the zone option to a power running game like alabama.I told my wife yesterday that if Florida lost to Furman and I was Florida I would go ahead and cut my loses and fire Muschamp now. all three are still in the sell stage and all there are still gonna get the recruits.
A coach must have the system that goes with his philosophy. Not to mention, Florida's offense under Meyer depended on a QB like Cam or Tebow. Good luck finding that player. Why rebuild when it is already built? I'm just saying.:BigA::BigA:
Run why would a kid rather have early playing time as opposed to someone that could get me ready for the next step which is the pros?:BigA::conf3::BigA:The answer is simple: early PT at a 'traditional' winner.
Our staff isn't the only one that can prepare players for the next level. There are good coaches at all the schools you're asking about, and they all produce NFL talent on a yearly basis (and have been for years).Run why would a kid rather have early playing time as opposed to someone that could get me ready for the next step which is the pros?:BigA::conf3::BigA:
The vast majority of your "highest" profile kids do not want to sit and do not want to redshirt. Most of them see playing from day 1 as a step to the pros.Run why would a kid rather have early playing time as opposed to someone that could get me ready for the next step which is the pros?:BigA::conf3::BigA:
some players dont have the right attitude that takes to coaching. instead of being led to the pro's you may be led to the bench. pretty sure there are players who dont come to Bama because of how hard we workRun why would a kid rather have early playing time as opposed to someone that could get me ready for the next step which is the pros?:BigA::conf3::BigA:
And some players simply love a particular school and want to play there.
