Excited to see what Coach Hart and the ladies are able to do this year. Leading goal scorer Gianna Paul is back for her Sr year and I read that our returning talent is 3rd best in the SEC. The league is so strong a .500 record in SEC play pretty much guarantees an NCAA bid. Love that we are playing at Duke and at UNC early on as we'll know where we stand right away.

A pretty frustrating regular season as we finished 4-6 in the conference and I think a 6-4 record or maybe even 5-5 would have secured an NCAA invite. Maybe an upset of perennial nemesis USC in Pensacola Sunday afternoon in the SEC tournament will do it. Hate to lose Sr Gianna Paul who's had a record setting career, but overall the team is still young.

Congrats to Coach Wes Hart and the ladies on the 2-0 upset of 7th seed USC who historically have been a VERY tough out for the Tide. That should? lock up an NCAA berth as our RPI jumped to 27. Nice work in Pensacola!!

I think we punched our ticket to the Big Dance with the upset of the Gamecocks and we took the Commodores to the final whistle yesterday. With a FROSH goalkeeper, hopefully the future is bright, although we'll have to replace all time leading scorer Gianna Paul. We have finally achieved solid consistency these past 4-5 years and it's been a fun ride for this program-NCAA berths, top 25 rankings, a Final Four appearance, plenty of Iron Bowl wins-

Soccer ladies took down Northwestern tonight! Went to 2 OTs and then PKs after we tied it 2-2 in the 85th minute. Bama keeper made 3 saves and we outgunned them 3-1 in PKs to win it. Great effort and a great win!

That was a good game to watch. Fell behind twice but found the equalizers. On deck, a trip to face Stanford on Thursday in round 2.

South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia are all first round losers.
