I have to say, I miss OT in soccer but I understand the reasoning of not having extra long matches for college aged folks. That said, a pair of 2-2 draws to start SEC play is not that bad. Especially since one was against a top 15 undefeated TEX squad and then last night against a really good 6-1-1 UT at home. Thursday night is a must win against more than likely the weakest SEC opponent we'll face-Mizzou. I think the match Sunday at UGA may be the key to the whole season. The Dawgs have struggled a bit at 5-3-2 but just beat Vandy on the road. A win there might secure us being in the top half of the conference come November. Kind of like the ARKY game in Football years ago. The years we beat the Hawgs in September seemed to n we lost to them, not so much.
