Peanut Whitehead's most recent interview is the most positive I have ever heard him speak of Alabama. Says that originally he was wanting to leave the state, but now he thinks that he wants to stay somewhere close enough for his mom to be able to drive to the games.

Andre Smith and Peanut Whitehead would be a great 1-2 punch to close our recruiting year. We have some great commitments already, and we are in the mix for some more. We should be welcoming a lot of talented young men to the Capstone in the fall.

Bama OLB commit Recardo Wright is as good as AJ Jones and already outweighs him by 35 lbs. I say this b/c everyone wanted Jones so badly, but I think we got an excellent OLB in Wright. Possibly only behind Odom and on par with Stevens.

It's also good news to know that Summers (from Olive Branch) will be coming to visit on the 13th with Walker (best friend). From our previous experience with Mississippi guys coming in for a visit, there's a great shot that we make a BIG impression on both these guys. And, like someone mentioned on the Summers' thread, he would provide us insurance if we lost Hawthorne. Also, I believe we will end up with Stevens as well.
