i was just wathcing the first half of the kentucky south carolina game and i noticed that s.c. defense is tough. they play hard! sc up by 2 at the half, come on cocks, we need uk beat!

I got to see the game here in Arabia. I thought SC looked very quick and tough on defensive. Their outside shooting was not very good. UK turned the ball over alot. I think both teams will be hard to beat, thank goodness they're both at home.

hardly even tried from the outside. As far as I could see they had no plays for springing outside shooters. However, they beat KY so thoroughly in the paint, that turned out to be enough. I worry a bit about handling them inside, and, of course, their defense...

And was impressed with the hustle of USC. Several times, they showed that great effort defeats pure talent (i.e. hustle blocks on UK's fast breaks). Will have our hands full on Saturday.

Defense? Maybe, but Kentucky shot miserably from the field. If you shoot below 35% on an opponent's court in the SEC you will probably lose regardless of who you are playing. What I want to know is how Auburn put up 74 against USC.

KY's low FG% was a combination of poor shooting and good SC defense. AU is strictly a 3-pt team. It's hard to guard that shot when they're heaving it up from 6-8' behind the three-point line...
