i dont even know what the point of continuing the season is....notre dame is gonna win it all.....the season is POINTLESS.... the fighting irish are BACK!...after just two games!....OMG ...u all hate notre dame..and how once again they are the best team to ever play college football ...TRY LIVING 15 MIN FROM THERE CAMPUS! i want to die....its sooooooo funny........ all the news headlines ...are ....''NOTRE DAME IS BACK!'' ''HOW GOOD ARE THE IRISH!'' ..first off PITT is horrible.....they lost to ohio and there coach is wannstedt ...thats it......and they upset michigan....i'll admit they might be better but omg.......................cant wait to see how they finish the season....its really funny to see how everybody starts to fly there nd car flags again....and where there nd clothes..................there sooo fairweather fans..................its hilarious.....

they started 2-0 last year and everybody was claiming they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. they were even claiming Ty Willy for the natl coach of the centry...then they laid a big turd on the 50 yd line the rest of the season. hope it happens again this year just to hear the main stream sports media say....well wait till Charlie gets his own players he is still playing with Willinghams players....yadda yadda yadda..pffft

I watched the talking heads falling all over themselves tooting ND's horn all weedend. How soon they forget 2002, three and four. Bozo's. You would think they would have enough sense to know that ND has had poor recruiting for the past several years.....but now they are going all the way!

I'm not sure they don't deserve it...I don't like ND either, however if they win this weekend, and go to 3-0, what 5 teams should be above them?

I'd say USC and Texas for sure...probably the winner of UT/UF and maybe VATECH or LSU, but those are not definites...I think ND is very good, but we'll see how they handle the winning

Exactly. Remember a couple years ago when everyone thought that they were great because they beat Michigan and it turned out that the Wolverines weren't really that good? Well, this is deja vu. I was saying before the season that Michigan had way too many question marks on offense to be ranked as high as they were. ND's other win was against a Pitt team which lost to Ohio on Friday. And not Ohio St., it was Ohio!

They are much improved. Probably an 8 team this year. If I had a vote in the top 25, I would be ranking them in the 20-25 range right now. But I wouldn't put them in the top 10 unless they are still undefeated after the USC game.
