He's gonna love it. I took my oldest son two years ago to his first game. He was 6 at the time. We got tickets to the north Texas game. We drove down to Hoover and stayed there Friday night (everything was booked up in T-town. That night we were awakened at three in the morning by someone's car alarm and we were so pumped up about the game, we couldn't go back to sleep. Rain moved in during the night and it was raining cats and dogs when we got up that morning but we were determined to make the trip ( weather man said it would be gone around noon.) got there and put on our ponchos and made our way in the rain to the quad for the pep rally and the parade. The rain finally ended toward the end of the pep rally and when we walked across the quad, I would never take anything for the look on his face when he looked up and saw the size of the stadium. We made our way in and the clouds broke up to blue skies and sun. We enjoyed a good game and while we had to leave early because waking up so early and walking around so much before the game was too much for him and I could tell he was getting sleepy. We let sometime into the third quarter ( first time I ever left early) and ended up caring him on my back the last mile to the car. He slept while I listened to the rest of he game on the radio but I didn't mind. I hope he will always remember the fun we had as much as I have.
