Maybe it is just me, (and my small corner of the planet), but TODAY it seems that every radio station I listen to, every sports channel I watch, every newspaper and blog I read; the talking heads now seem to think that Texas is going to win this game...

I'm not sure if I missed a memo, but what has caused this shift in the media? I haven't checked the Vegas odds to see if they have changed, but I can't imagine what Bama could have done to lose favor... Is it McClain's illness, Ingram Day, or something else?

It just seems odd for this shift to occur the day before the game... (Just as odd as Andre Dawson getting the nod for the Baseball Hall of Fame after 9 years. To the best of my knowledge he hasn't hit any homers or stolen any bases recently, but somehow everyone's opinion of him changed as well.)

Ro being sick is a big deal. If he doesnt play, its going to be really tough without him. Hes been the defensive signal caller for 3 years. This is more important than some people realize. And if he plays sick, he might not be 100%

Ro has been back at practice they would have to amputate both arms and legs to keep him out of the game.

Some "talking heads" are picking Texas now, for the same reason they picked Florida to win in December. Simply, they think one player can have a have a magical night, and be enough. Sure, that can be the case, but I would think McCoy's performance against top ten defenses this season suggests otherwise.

I don't think Riley would have made Wednesday Mark Ingram day without contact Coach Saban first. He is a Bama fan, you know...

(D)ongress could be passing a bill to outlaw him from playing in the Healthcare talks for all we know. But I don't think even that will keep him off of that field.

It sounds like a cliche, but turnovers, turnovers, turnovers, turnovers and the kicking game I believe will determine who wins this game.

I think it's going to be a tight ballgame.

I've noticed a little bit of a shift as well. Thats okay with me. I was getting tired of the whole "poor little Texas" poor mouthing going on like they weren't good enough to be there.:rolleye2:
But still a majority seems to like BAMA in this one.:)
