Tennessee @ Alabama Predictions!!!

31-13 Bama. I think this is the game we punch the gas and keep it down. I'm not worried about (or)ainge picking us apart. They got smoked by two teams in games where there was little or no pressure on him. (he's only been sacked once all year) I'm thinkin this will be the game where our O begins to take shape. RTR !!!!!!!!!!!!

What I think:
Although everything points to the opposite, I think this will be a defensive game. Why? Because, both sides are going to be challenged this week by two pretty good offenses, especially ours. I think both defenses will step it up this week and play tough. I'm not making a prediction other than to say it will be another close game for us. I think its a toss-up.
What I hope:
I would like to see Bama come out strong at the start, have long drives that eat up the clock and score first and keep the lead. The offense will need to be consistent and keep Ainge & Co off the field.
Bama has won games all year where they did this even when the other team was able to close the gap in the 2nd half. Bama is a strong 4th Quarter team which is going to help. I do think the defense will answer the challenge this week tho.:BigA:

I predict that those of us in the east stands will not need to bring sunglasses because Fat Fill will block out the sun.

and also

Tenn 31, Bama 28 (realistic) but as a fan, Tenn 28, Bama 31.

Bama 34
Tennessee 24

The Vols defense let them down again. Ainge throws for 250 but has three INT's. The VOL RB's get 150 yards collectively but drop the rock twice.

JPW throws for 275 3 TD's and one INT. Coffee, Upchurch, and Grant gallop for 230 yards collectively. Leigh Tiffin nails two FGs. CNS praises his troops for finally putting together a 60 minute game with only a few minor mistakes.

Fulmer scratches his belly and states that, "my players need a bigger appetite"

If I had to bet $1000 I'd have to put it on the Vols, probably by a touchdown.

Sadly, I agree. That's basing on what I've seen the last month. But, I'm not a betting man. :)

Again, I really don't know who will win, and really have no feel on it.

Last week, around Friday, I started to have a bad feeling about Ole Miss, and that bad feeling was confirmed in the first half. However, we did come out on top.

I'm not feeling 100% great about this week, but, again, I didn't feel good last week, either.

Hmmmm....well, I'm not giving a score prediction, but I'll say this:

If the Bama defense that played the first half shows up the entire game, we'll lose.

If the Bama defense that played the second half shows up the entire game, then we should win.

I've been saying that I think the team will gel around mid-season. Here's hoping for a complete game this week. :)

Roll Tide!! :biga:
