SIAP, but with all the threads related to the presidential race, it is also of note that control of the Senate is up for grabs.

Nine of the top 10 seats on CNN’s latest ranking of the Senate seats most likely to flip are held by Democrats (or independents who caucus with them). And assuming Republicans flip West Virginia, where Sen. Joe Manchin is retiring, the GOP just needs to win the White House or pick up one more Senate seat to win the majority.
It will be interesting to see how Harris will influence these contested races over the next few months.

CNN's ranking of incumbents in trouble at the moment:

1. West Virginia, Joe Manchin (I, retiring)
2. Montana, John Tester (D)
3. Ohio, Sherrod Brown (D)
4. Nevada, Jacky Rosen (D)
5. Arizona, Kyrsten Sinema (I, retiring)
6. Michigan, Debbie Stabenow (D, retiring)
7. Pennsylvania, Bob Casey (D)
8. Wisconsin, Tammy Baldwin (D)
9. Maryland, Angela Alsobrooks (D)
10. Texas, Ted Cruz (R)

I had hoped to see Sen. Pine Box Tuberville (R, Florabama) on that list, but sadly his term isn't over until 2027.

Alsobrooks isn't an incumbent but she is at some risk because Hogan was so popular.
Yes, it would be a party flip if Hogan wins. I personally like Hogan and voted for him as governor. However, I'm concerned now because a republican controlled senate is very concerning in todays climate. I do see him as independently voting from the republican sycophants. 🤷‍♂️

He’s much more of a moderate Republican. I think he would be much more akin to Susan Collin’s than some of the more right leaning senators.
