Whew...Wow...that thread was harmless and extremely honest. Posters on this board shouldn't have to hesitate speaking their mind about a football program that has seen very hard times in recent seasons. Sadly, that seems to be the case on Tidefans.com.

Sure, posts and the content of the posts should be monitored, but as long as it's football related there is no reason why people shouldn't be able to at least criticize others in higher positions on this football board. Even if it's silly and without base why not at least let some of the people on here express how they truely feel? If people can just post back and fourth to one another maybe an understanding could be made?

There are good message boards out there that have found a median that allows the posters to speak their minds yet not get too carried away with "hate posts." This board is not one of them and it's a shame because Bama Football is a great topic of conversation, obviously, by the number of people that post on here everyday.

But that's the way it has to be, and this probably won't live long enough to be read by more than a few people, but this is not meant to be a bitter post. I just think the people that run this board should relax and not jump on anyone who may question the "powers that be." Yeah...later.

the mods here are the best i've ever encountered. we all step over the line at times, but that's life.

Or you can go to the non-moderated sites which suck big time because too many toothless ones from Lower Alabama and The Slimey Fecum On The Hill come to spray the boards with their musk.

It seems the only ones that complain about our mods are the perennial whiners and the forked tongue ones. Which one are you?

I am not sure what thread is missing, but if the Mod's zapped it I am sure I won't miss it. The Mod's do an outstanding job on TideFans. What is wrong with a positive board? If I want negative, I can find them all over the net.
