Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!
Every 'Bama man's behind you,
Hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For Bama's pluck and grit have
Writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men!
Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.
So roll on to victory,
Hit your stride,
You're Dixie's football pride,
Crimson Tide, Roll Tide, Roll Tide!!

The correct lyrics

Actually, even the posted lyrics are wrong. Pretty bad, but the Bama site has a couple of things wrong. I'm 22 years old now and remember learning "Yea Alabama" very young when it was sung correctly. Somehow along the way it's been changed because of what people "think" it says. The two lyrics that people sing wrong today are "That's a shame!" and "So roll on to victory". I double-checked this just to make sure and here's the following lyrics which are the ones that I learned back in the early 90's....

Yea Alabama! Drown 'em Tide.
Every Bama man's behind you, hit your stride.
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave.
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's his shame.
For Bama's pluck and grit have writ her name in Crimson flame.
Fight on, fight on, fight on men.
Remember the Rose Bowl, we'll win then.
Go roll to vict'ry, hit your stride.
You're Dixie's football pride, Crimson Tide!
