#1. NC State is not like losing to Brown or Holy Cross. NC State is number the second best team behind Duke in the ACC. The Notre Dame and Temple losses we played like ****. Memphis may bethe best team in the nation. We aren't playing the cream puff schedule we are so used to in years past. Your going to lose when you play tough competition. Florida "The Best Team in the conference" has played nobody. Wake Forest is the best team they've played.

#2. We are still a young team. We are replacing two All-SEC players (Winston 1st team and Shelton 2nd). You have to get the right mix. Felix is not stepping up like he should. I also hear people asking why Davis is moving around and passing the ball in and not posting up..... HE'S NOT THE CENTER. HE IS PLAYING THE 4. Davidson is the 5 and that is why he was the human fly swatter last night.

#3. To be honest this may be the most talented team we've had. When they start clicking it could be fun.

#4. Other than the 3pt shooting I was happy with what we were able to do. 70% from the line is not bad. 10% from three is not good. So in my assesment of last night if we were able to just get to 30% from three we are praising CMG. We out rebounded them, we stole more and were even on TO. This games glaring stat was the 3. That is not CMG.

#5. Being aggressive will not increase your fouls.

I'd doubt we'd see NC St. finishing 2nd in the ACC.......

Defense is still killing us, our guards are not defending well at all. Jonus and Gee are always atleast 1-2 steps late and giving open looks from 3. It seems Gee takes time off when playing defense and when he has the ball he seems to have more energy. I'm not saying he's doing it on purpose thats just what it looks like. We are also letting defenders just stroll into the lane while running a 2-3 and giving up shots. Not supposed to happen. If we get our defense in decent order we'll start winning ball games.

We have not played a cream puff schedule since the 2000-01 season. However, last night was probably the best game we've played this season against solid competition. Gee is our best perimeter defender and our problems on the defensive end do not lie with him.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with this post... at all.

Ok, so we've lost to some good teams. So what? If we can't win any games that we shouldn't win OR winning games we should be winning, then talent is lost. Whether the team just isn't "meshing" or if CMG is good at doing less with more is anyone's guess.

It is sickening whether the team is good or not. We are supposed to be good and we don't win any tough games(tough could be debated, Temple and ND don't impress me).

We didn't get anything out of any of our losses to date. This team has proven to me SO FAR that they haven't rebounded from any loss this season, I don't expect them to start now.

We are a young team. Winston and Shleton had significant minutes last year and now you are replacing about 40% of the playing time of last year. GIVE THEM TIME!
