It is looking like another "hold your breath on selection sunday" kind of year.
Maybe we can hold serve at home and CMG can figure out how to atleast be competitive more than 15% of the time on the road. Vandy is not that good.

It's the same thing EVERY year. Last year we just happened to have a good run to end the year. Gottfried is like 5 and 192 on the road and is completely and utterly clueless on defense. I'm sick of Gottfried and our radio announcers talking about how "hot" the other team in from 3 point range every game. They aren't "hot", we just give every team we play about 40 good looks a game from 3 point range and have the nerve to act like they were just "hot" when they make 12 of them and beat us by 15 points. I'm sick and tired of this mess. Gottfried HAS to quit worrying about foul trouble and he has to start taking chances on defense to create some turnovers. We NEVER do that.

Here's how the 2nd half will go. We'll pull to within 8 or 9 at some point in the second half only to get no closer. Vandy will push it back out to about a 15 point lead while we play 10 feet off each defender letting them run out the 35 second shot clock and run their offense. If the other team shoots just 25% from 3 point range, they win. Some gameplan huh?

we just look like we dont know how to play basketball? god we are AWFUL right now. Im not saying we wont turn it around in the season but right now we SUCK.

they are not hot, anytime you give up this many open 3's you're toast. i just watched four out of the five players JOG down the court on defense to give up an easy layup. they are acting like they have given up already. dont know whats up.
