I can't begin to describe how much I disagree with the post count being visible at all. To me, it leads to nothing but ways to discriminate and hate others for their lack of posts, or their abundance of posts.

The word Moderator under a person's name is important, but how many posts they have should not be. People are getting banned left and right for saying they want MM fired, but people who get visibly (by their words) angry at people who make a mistake because they have under 100 posts, are just being over looked.

Fire the post counter lol!

I kind enjoyed those other standards we had briefly where you could give someone props for a good post. That was really fun. Too bad we got rid of them.

It's kind of a "warning signal" - if you will. Kind of like wearing a nice suit to an interview. I like the post counts for that very reason. Not that it is fool proof, but it does eliminate A LOT of fools.
