Winning 9 of the last 10 has definitely put us in a great position. Not many teams have finished as strong.
 
I like the bracket Lunardi has us in currently. 3 seed with Mich. St. as the 2 and Duke as the 1 with their injuries. Hope that holds but things will probably change. He does have us matched up against Troy in the first round. That brings on some PTSD from the South Alabama matchup in the first round of the tournament in the late 80s, early 90s. In-state game where we got upset. Peanut Butter and Jelly!! :oops:

I like our current bracket too. Lunardi isn't 100% accurate but he is usually pretty dang close. When we were a 1 seed a while back, he was the first to put us there. I don't think anyone else had us at #1 until we won the SEC tournament. His bracket predictions always include what he thinks will happen in the conference tournaments.

Always a lot of projections and opinions concerning bracket prognostications this time of year but Lunardi has been the gold standard for quite sometime.

I see he has AU back in after their win last night, as the very last team in. I wonder if that changes should they lose today?

I do think we solidify a 3 seed if we win tomorrow, likely against Georgia. A win on Saturday, likely against Arky, and we are probably the 1st or 2nd rated 3 seed. If we win the whole SECT, maybe we get a 2? But I doubt it.

Yeah, saw barn was back in. They are because Indiana lost to Northwestern. Looks like these 2 team are neck and neck in Lunardi's brackets. No idea if they will be back out, but if Miami,Ohio doesn't win the MAC they are toast.

Welp, Miami of OH just lost to UMass in the quarterfinals of their tournament so somebody more than likely just lost a spot. Right now, Auburn is back to being the first team out in Lunardi's projections.

gotta be the barn that is out. Lunardi doesn't update hourly. he typically waits until all the games of the day are done. We will know tomorrow.

The committee could leave out Miami. That is a possibility.

I have the SEC tourney on and they just said Lunardi has them as the first team out now. He doesn't post an entire update on their website until every morning early but he's feeding them updates on air continuously.

So we probably made ourselves a 4 seed with that bad loss. The SEC winner tomorrow probably gets a 4 too.
 
CBS has Vandy as a 2! I don't see it, we are a 4 in Arizona bracket, also didn't know Jaden Bradley was big 12 player of the year according to the announcers yesterday, good for him
