Time to Track Bracketology Stuff!! (multi-site predictions)

Hofstra is no joke. They are the kind of team we struggle with. They have two good guards, and a good rim protector that averages 4 blocks per game.

They play almost the slowest pace of all D1 teams. It’s eerily similar to San Diego St.

They will hack, hold, and mug us to death on defense, and slow it down to a crawl on offense.

They will try to keep the game from turning into a track meet.

It is a very bad matchup for us. I believe the NCAA knew what they were doing - let’s just put it that way.

A lot is going to depend on how the refs decide to let these types of teams play us.

Usually we get the short end of the deal, and they play with the attitude that you can’t call them all anyway.

A lot of people are wondering why we are “only” a 12 point favorite - that’s why.

If anything good comes from Ole Miss, hopefully the rotation is cut back down, and we don’t come in over-confident now.

Roll Tide.

Not sure how we cut our rotation down; we are a 7 man team. Against Ole Miss we got 14 minutes , total; out of Jemison, Williamson and Bethea. That's who we are.

Maybe not cut it down, but certainly don’t have 2 on the bench out of Philon, Holloway, and Wrightsell for multiple stretches of the game, while Williamson and Bowen were on the floor together during those same stretches.

During our 9 out of 10 hot streak to end the season, Williamson was almost an after thought, and Bowen wasn’t playing nearly as many minutes.

I don’t think the results was a coincidence. Williamson has no business being in the rotation, can’t shoot and he can’t play defense.

Bowen is only slightly better.

Point being is we need to lean on our big 3, plus Sherrell, Malette, then Jemison and Allen as much as we can.
