Some of y'all may want to watch some of his recruiting tape before making a judgement. Granted, HS film doesn't always mean much but his tape looks better than the HS tape of one or two quarterbacks currently on our roster...

Welp since you can tamper all willy nilly now I hope our coaches have some burner phones ready to dial away. I don’t want to be the only fool following the “rules”

Idk how to feel about this. Hopefully this don’t push Sayin out the door

Looks very good. With Sayin and Mack competing for the starting QB role I think Milroe will need some kind of a transformation similar to what Hurts had after transferring to Oklahoma. Without such a transformation he won't be our starter.

I love the Austin Mack move if TS, DL and JS are all staying. Saw an interview where he talked about how much the coaching staff developed him last year, that would be great for all the guys in the room to hear.

He’s going to have to visit Baumhower’s, Dream Land, Archibald’s and a few more to add a few lbs. Hopefully, we get him.
That didnt help the oline this year. In all honesty i believ
In all seriousness, I think we were a little too big up front last year. It’s hard to pass pro against a lot of these fast and very athletic d line and edge personnel.
You know whats so funny to me? In 1986 the Washington Redskins offensive line was called "the hogs" because of how big they were.
LT Joe Jacoby 6,2 305#
LG Russ Grimm 6'3 305
C Jeff Bostic 6'2 268
RG R.C. Thielemann 6'4 255#
RT Mark May (yes that Mark May) 6'6" 295
How times have changed.....

I would think this points more toward someone like Lonergan or Simpson leaving, not Sayin................Sayin has made no indication that he wants to leave, and hasn't said anything. I'd put some money on the fact that DeBoer and Grubb both paid him a visit and discussed how he would flourish in their system...............so lets dont panic yet. Also, I look for more players of need to transfer in now that it seems there is a greater opportunity for playing time

If this was any position other than QB I'd be pretty happy. The QB position is one that's shown stability and a lot of depth thus far, and even if a QB left, the situation still seemed like it would be ok.

Mack is a good QB prospect. He's tall, he was a top 100 player, he was rated a top 10 QB, he's certainly a solid recruit. But, Sayin just seems so legit. To make me a little more nervous, Sayin is from the west coast but it doesn't show that he got an offer from Washington.

So... I just really, really hope this doesn't have implications when it comes to Sayin. One other note on Mack, Will Rogers was coming to Washington, I don't think a guy with 12,000 career yards and 94 TDs would head to Washington unless he was promised the starting job.

This doesn't necessarily mean he's coming in to start, doesn't seem like they thought he was ready. Seems more like a depth move, but this begs the question of why they think they needed depth.

Mack is basically a true freshman. He reclassified in 2023 to come to college early and learn from Grubb instead of playing his senior season last year. If he stays in his correct class he is probably type 5-10 best qb recruits in country coming in this year. I am not sure where he fits in but he is just as talented as every qb outsider of Sayin. Anyone complaining about Milroe and his inability to read his defenses and getting through his progression should love this kid. Looking at the video as a junior you see him reading defenses knowing where he was going with the ball but also going through 3-4 progressions at rapid speed. That is Bryce Young type stuff right there.
