Several times this past season I told friends, "Seth has the yips, like golfers get sometimes." Usually a competitor can work his way through the yips.

We have an opening at center and guard, so he will start somewhere next year. He is a beast as a blocker, and we need help in the interior, so this is huge.

Sometimes that “monkey on your back turns into an 800 pound gorilla”. Think about it. Stay at Alabama and the first “holy roller” snap Seth makes at Alabama, the reaction will be “uh-oh here we go again”, and not only from fans but probably from Seth himself. As a previous poster stated, I think the pressure on him due to more responsibilities weighed heavily on him. And that affected him in doing the #1 priority of a center - making a quality snap.

Clean start at a new location working with a more experienced QB and possibly more experienced line and possibly coaching that can get him “out of his own head” could go a long way.

If the hype of a certain true freshman turns out to be legit then Spring might reveal a welcomed QB controversy. And it may not be from the true frosh either with Simpson and Lonergan in the mix. Need a guy that can see open receivers.

I would think whoever is 4th on the depth list at Quarterback after spring leaves and transfers out. I think it will be open competition in spring but then you have to start narrowing it down to get the snaps for the guy/guys you think will actually get snaps during the season.

Thanks...I wasn't sure, but that's a huge accomplishment for Taulia considering so many famous QBs who came before him in the B1G.

Taulia just became the all time leader in Big Ten yards in his last regular season game passing Curtis Painter all time with just over 11k yards.
Aaron Murray leads the SEC with 13k.
