You know other schools will be reaching out to Bama players like crazy.

Saban's retirement caught those "other schools" off guard, too. They scrambled to fill their rosters -- and made commitments to many young men and their families. Many would have to release players to poach Bama players. (This doesn't mean they *won't*; it just means it would take some extreme juggling.)

The team meeting is in half an hour. It strikes me a number of our players decisions to enter the portal hinge on this meeting.
