If we can somehow pull off a win in that game it would go a long way in recruiting I'd bet.

I agree, I don't understand all these players leaving. It leads me to believe that the culture on this team was in a decline over the last several seasons.
No point in watching the roster until the dust settles. . Until Spring the roster is a moving target.
I'm afraid the only way to fix this now is for all college football fans to find something else to do on Saturdays for about 4 years. Cut off the source. Make it a "sport" again.

As someone previously mentioned, it’s just a different time we are in now when we see kids come and go in the portal, either to chase NIL, play for a certain position coach, etc. These guys want NFL careers. Do they think their position coach will follow them to the NFL? This is about instant gratification, with a casualty being mental toughness and overcoming adversity.
They come here and rent the adoration from fans, and are treating the schools as short term rental development and NIL factories. I wish them no ill will, but don’t let the doorknob hit you on the way out.

When I was at Alabama, there were classes that I should have withdrawn from! My GPA would have been a hell of a lot better! But no...... I was brought up that you didn`t quit just because the going got tough. You just worked that much harder.
Michigan didn’t have as far to fall as Bama does. We spent a lot of years on the mountaintop, Michigan touched it one time.
Still going to be fun to watch someone else go through this…This 30 day window where you can only talk to Bama players (I know that’s not the rule…) is rough!

Indeed. To state the obvious, we are the happy hunting ground, and it`s looking like there`s not much we can do about it. Like buzzards on a carcass. Sark and Kirby, I believe, have an overt goal of leaving us as a mere shell of our former selves. JMO, but I think the team will have little, if any, resemblance to this past season, both personnel and schematically. What that`ll mean for W`s and L`s, nobody knows. Doesn`t feel very comfortable, though.
