he was actually improving late in the season. I think we as fans expect too much from a freshman even with a 5-star label next to his name to come in and set the world on fire. it wasn't realistic, but he has all the potential to be a stud in the coming years!

Agreed. He has incredible potential and I believe he will only get better over the next two years.

That is a probably right up there with Downs as he was the number 1 cornerback in 2023 for some publications, Honestly get him another good safety and the defense is set imo. Then some oline and we are set imo.

If I remember correctly he had some struggles at Colorado. He should have freshman growing pains out of the but idk if he’s SEC ready or not.

I didn’t know until the other day that players cannot portal between SEC schools in this transfer period.

We have to look to other conferences and G5 teams.

So I’d say having a mostly all new staff, from across the country, is a sneaky advantage right now.

Proctor was at Iowa, so he is allowed to return to Alabama and is doing so.

Some court granted a temporary restraining order on the sitout thing, so the normal rule about having to sit out a year can't be enforced. Everyone is eligible immediately.

I'm glad he is back as well, but his story is an object lesson in why there should be some limits or penalties for hitting the portal. Just something to tell the young guys, "Slow down, big fella. Let's think this through."

Wonder if Ty staying might send Milroe to the portal. Probably not unless he got a really sweet deal outside the conference but you never know these days.

Could be that after a few cycles of people entering the portal and not finding a home the madness might slow down.

Milroe should have transferred after the 2022 season. Likely too late now.
