Found this Bama target list on 247Sports. The top 4 are very interesting. The UAB kid is a really good overall player...

I love Lendeborg... especially if we were to lose Reid. My concerns with him is that some program will throw the bulk of their NIL $$$ at him and he'll go with the money. If, however, he wants to go with a program that will get him exposure, great competition, and develop him for the next level, we should very much be in play. That is... unless Duke is in the picture. Word seems to be they spent around 15 million for their roster this year.

From what I see of their footage, I'm not a big fan of the Arkansas guy. He isn't bulky enough to be a defensive force inside although he does bring range to the equation. IMO, Williamson and Sherril are both better than him from an all-around game. The UCLA guy is more intriguing to me because of his better defensive presence/bulk and seeming upside. However, though we might want him, I could see him more easily going to a team like Purdue, Creighton, UConn, etc. that has designed their system around bigs like him for some time now.

Did Taylor Bol Bowen make it to ttown today? I haven't heard anything, but he was supposed to leave Lexington today and arrive in ttown for his visit.

Jaron was phenomenal for JSU this year, averaging 22/6/4 with good size as a 6'5" guard. His 30-point game against Georgia Tech in the first round of the NIT was fun to watch. He would be a good pull.
The key to anybody we recruit is how does he shoot the 3? How many makes per game and what percentage for 3 does he have?

He had a great visit. We are sitting in great shape with him.

In other news, it is being reported that there is a "99% chance" that Rylan Griffen is returning. 6'6 guard who has great ability from 3 and knows the system, sign me up.

Obviously, Griffen was a productive player for us at times but I don't want him back. He plays too "aloof" and is not what we need to play with the elite teams. Go back and rewatch the UConn Final 4 game last year. We were competitive deep into the second half but because of lapses by Griffen on both ends of the court, it went to an insurmountable lead quickly. He's not a good ball handler and just doesn't play tough enough consistently. I would rather try someone else. Just my opinion.

Griffen's offensive production went down at Kansas, including his 3-point percentage. I didn't watch his games there so I don't know how he was used on offense nor how he performed on defense. His size is a plus. He will be a senior this upcoming season which is good from an experience standpoint but bad because it would be a one-and-done on Bama's roster.

I lean a tad towards thinking there are better options. I'd like to know what Coach Oats thinks...

I understand your being suspect of bringing back a player who did have some inconsistency’s. My outlook on bringing him back is positive. His defense, 3 point shooting, and knowledge of CNO system would be enough for me to bring him back. But what do I know? 😊

He averaged taking just under 8 threes a game and making 3 of them, so 38% from distance. For comparison, Sears shot just under 36% this year while Youngblood shot 39%, so JPJ sits somewhere between those two. He's also an 81% shooter from the charity stripe, so he wouldn't hurt us there, either.

It seems to me that we already have enough suspect shooters among our wings, assuming Reid and Stevenson stay, which is no guarantee. Neither is it a given that Rylan's touch returns. A bigger need for this team: at least two legitimate point guards. In the end, whatever Nate decides is fine with me.

As we all know rumors are flying this time of the year. Whether RG returns or not is TBD. Do I think we should unload the coffers for him, absolutely not. But if he is excited and determined to come back and help us get over the Final Four hump I think he could be a great addition to the team Oats is assembling. We all know athletic bigs will be an emphasis for the next season and I imagine a pretty big chunk of our NIL purse will be set aside for that right piece when it presents itself. I'd be shocked if we don't get a few big names move in over the next few weeks.

Great points and some don't remember he was a very good defender and when he is hot he has a great stroke. I will take him back right now!!

That is good. Let's see if an offer is extended.
