He could be a solid 6th year senior.
Sounds like we are hiring a defensive assassin.

That many double-doubles means he works both ends of the floor! That kind of effort will also win many hard hat awards and inspire that spirit throughout the whole team.

Hope he rolls with the Tide. He *could* potentially be the most important player on the team if he inspires grit and toughness!!!

We have signed the four transfer portal players that were committed. Here are their bio's and CNO's comments on each.

Things that stood out to me in the article...

Jalil Bethea | G | 6-5 | 190 | Philadelphia, Pa. | Miami/Archbishop Wood

A 2024 McDonald’s All-American selection and won the McDonald’s Slam Dunk Contest.

Keitenn Bristow | F | 6-8 | 190 | Holliday, Texas | Tarleton State/Holliday HS

Keitenn is a player that is just beginning to scratch the surface of his talent as he grew nine inches over the last three years.

I think Bristow might be the diamond in the rough type of player we need this year. Dude just has all kinds of upside and I don't think anyone really knows how good he CAN be. NINE inches in three years is really crazy.

Like I said ... We should be going after a guard.

USC transfer guard Desmond Claude will take an official visit to Alabama beginning on Sunday.

Claude is one of the top guards in the transfer portal.

The Connecticut native averaged 15.8 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 4.2 APG at USC as a junior. In addition, he shot 48.2% from the floor and 30.7% from three.

Highlights
Just what the Dr. ordered!!!

I got through about half of the highlights and it was enough for me.

Length: A 6'6" PG! He'd be a matchup disaster. Noticed a couple of times he backed a player down for a little turnaround!

Shot: Looked smooth to me. At 6'6" he's got a high launch point so being a tad slow on the trigger is not as big of a deal.

Getting to the hoop: At 6'6" he's got the length to get there and finish with authority! And, when needed, that little finger roll finish he's got is a dying art!

Me like! Did I mention he was 6'6"???

Indeed... his film suggests he's a better player than Philon. Would be a big-time land if we can get him IMO.
Well, they are highlights not lowlights, but yes, I see the potential for him to be just as good and maybe even better! I think his 3 point shotting of 30% can improve and probably will under CNO, who will encourage him to launch it. His shooting form is better than Philon's IMO.

I just read an article on AL.com about CNO being at the Regions pro-am and he said, "We are working to add one more piece."

I suspect this is the piece he wants to add.

Yeah there was another part he talked about depth and #13 spot.

I think he said that because we had another player committed and he looking at this current player as final piece.

I might be wrong.
