Anyone notice it was supposed to be a run to the right? It was a broken play... I was literally jumping up and down when it happened.
Wasn't necessarily "broken".... he just cut it back.

And actually if AJ would have audibled it to go left Trent could have walked in lol..

Chicken.....rooster.....almost the same thing! ;) But any chance to post Arrested Development gifs, especially an awesome TR run like last night's, is a good thing.

Ole Miss had that play defended perfectly from the beginning with the blitz, and had a guy in the backfield that should have made a tackle for a loss. Amazing run by Trent.

Something that they pointed out on Sporstcenter...the DB that Trent juked at the 15 was the same db who Trent juked in the backfield at the beginning of the run; the poor sap hustled all the way down the field only to get abused again.

Comment from the announcer "I'm not trying to embarrass him...Trent Richardson's already done that."

That'll leave a mark.
Well... at least he gets a good mark for effort.

I agree with the previous poster - the downfield blocking by Maze and the Deuce was almost as awesome as the run. Two receivers blocked 3-4 defenders for 20+ yards. Are you kidding me? Trent is as fun to watch as Shaun, but also the blocking he gets at every level is getting downright unfair.

Reminded me of Maze's returned punt for a TD; there were 5-6 buddies there with him as he ran into the endzone. They had blocked multiple guys and worked in concert with him during the whole run. I think and pray this (along with a better defensive scheme) is what separates us from LSU. The entire offense is starting to play like the pros the defense is compared to.

If I was a NFL scout I would be more impressed of when the move was made to the actual move. Most RB's would not have the gas left to make such energetic and precise movements after sprinting 76 yards. This is a great example of Trents strength and stamina. He is the best Bama RB in my 35 years of watching. Humphrey, Ingram and Alexander were great backs, but Trent is the blue print.

What people don't realize is that Trent is a Jedi. The guy that left his jock strap on the field was actually thrown off by use of The Force. Notice Trent's hand comes out and the guy collapses. Subtle, but typical Jedi use of The Force. Truly special.

That poor kid turned down a million from the Boston Red Sox to play for Ole Miss and get used like that! No shame there, though. Trent is a great back!

#21 also took a wicked stiff arm to the face on our very next offensive series from Jalston Fowler on his TD run. Rough night for the kid. But he'll learn from it

I think when Trent juked the defender, he thought Trent was fixing to run him over and he jumped into a three point stance but Trent just waltzed into the end zone.
