If he is in a Federal status (active duty or reserve), there’s a DoD directive that forbids it. If he’s a National Guard member in state status, it would depend on Texas rules.

, What’s your General doing dressed in uniform at a Trump campaign event? Or did Donald find another Stolen Valor schmuck to play dress-up? Last I checked LARPing for a candidate in uniform is not permitted. Figure a General would know that.
You would think that these attorneys, some of whom are not as green as this young lady, would pay attention to what happens to others who sign on with him...
Did Trump just hang Alina Habba out to dry? The very first case Alina Habba handled for Trump may be the case that leads to her losing her law license. Michael Popok reports on a new settlement reached that excludes Habba and allows the plaintiff to sue her for fraud when she fake befriended the plaintiff to convince her to not file a suit against Trump, shameful conduct the NJ Bar could use to sanction Habba and pull her law license.
there seems to be a never ending list of lawyers who think "this won't happen to me"You would think that these attorneys, some of whom are not as green as this young lady, would pay attention to what happens to others who sign on with him...
Probably paid "some in advance," according to Michael Cohen and a bunch of other attorneys who've worked for him...there seems to be a never ending list of lawyers who think "this won't happen to me"
Form what I understand at least Habba was paid in advance
News is out this morning that Trump may be in line for a $3.5 Bil windfall as Truth Social is heading to an IPO. I can see how difficult it is for him to come to grips with the fact that he has such enormous judgements against him. After all the banks bailed him out of bankruptcy before and NY turned a blind eye to his grift over many years.Apparently trump has until Monday to come up with the 450+ million. Looks like the most likely thing for him to do is declare bankruptcy (again).
my guess is there will be a “solution†at the last minute and we will have to tune into next week’s episode to learn moreApparently trump has until Monday to come up with the 450+ million. Looks like the most likely thing for him to do is declare bankruptcy (again).
His level of stupidity never ceases to amaze me.the winning is palpable

Amazing how this crooked fool can get one break after another.Trump wins partial stay of fraud judgment, allowed to post $175 million
However, while the panel eased the financial cloud over Trump, it did not erase it entirely. The panel gave Trump 10 days to come up with the reduced bond of $175 million, saying it would only delay enforcement of the full amount if he put up that money within this window. Trump’s attorneys had previously sought to post a $100 million bond, rather than the full amount, and have not said whether he can meet the $175 million threshold.
What does it say about this fool that multiple judges have to lay down rules of legal decorum time and time again.good, this moron is a habitual line stepper

A New York judge has imposed a gag order on Donald Trump, limiting the former president from making statements about potential witnesses in the criminal trial relating to hush money payments scheduled to begin next month.
Judge Juan Merchan also said that Trump can’t make statements about attorneys, court staff or the family members of prosecutors or lawyers intended to interfere with the case. Trump is also barred from making statements about any potential or actual juror.
The former president, Merchan wrote, has a history of making “threatening, inflammatory, denigrating†statements against people at all levels of the justice system, including jurors.
