Flavor Flav has invited the U.S. women's hockey team to Las Vegas to celebrate their Olympic victory. This comes after the team declined Donald Trump's invitation to attend the State of the Union.
Sounds like fun. I'm proud of the team for saying no and refusing to be a political pawn in this deranged speech the Epstein Administration is about to give.
Here in the farm belt(Iowa), the glycophosphate debate has gotten so big that we are getting pro-glycophospate ads on the local radio stations. Farmers have a lot of pull.

Declining to appear at the SOTU appears to be for practical reasons, not political ones. Half these kids are college students who have missed weeks of this semester, so it totally tracks that they don't really have time for this.
Farmers have a lot of pull in practically every country. In terms of Round Up it goes all the way back to Monsanto -Bayer AG production of GMO (Round Up ready) seeds that they sell literally by the seed. American farmers including small ones are wrapped around this industry involving high capital, high input cost, falling prices due to increasing global production of practically every grain crop and cotton.
There is a lot to unwrap but it is difficult for me to see a way out of of this for American farmers. Even for beef farmers who are locked into a high cost process where the processors and distributors take all the profit.

Had to be an easy decision to make after the misogynistic phone call made by the Pedophile in Chief to the Men’s Hockey team who also appear to be a special type of piece of crap Boys Club.

While the comments by Trump and the resulting laughter by the team smacked of misogyny, Jack Hughes (for one) seems to be an upstanding and respectful guy. He’s an excellent example of an American Olympic champion.
Oh - I think it's political all the way.
Not every player on the women's team has conflicts with upcoming games.

Easy for them to feign support for the Women in public but then in the locker they devolved into knuckle dragging Neanderthals and then double down on it.
The whole thing is disappointing but simultaneously not surprising.

It’s really sad that these women can’t put aside their pettiness and TDS long enough to be honored at the state of the Union address. When they finally grow up and learn a little about the world and country they live in, they will regret this decision. We all cheered you on and celebrated your win. Now it’s too bad you’re now losing.
Being used as a pawn in the SOTU by a despicable president is in no way a celebration of their win.

It’s never been funny to treat women as less than or imply or infer their accomplishments are less than.
The US Women’s Hockey team is not displaying pettiness or TDS.
They are displaying that they have a Spine and Self Respect to not accept an invitation from a Buffoon who just disrespected them.
