At least Greenland, with its 57K inhabitants, shouldn't have been a black hole for funds. Cuba is a totally different matter. They'll probably volunteer to be his 51st state. Wonder what the odds are as to whether or not Trump's name will appear on this new arch?

I doubt it...but you never know...lots of Cubans have come here over the years and been quite successful. I've been there 2x and was treated well by the people.

Oh, I've no doubt about that. I question whether or not folks over there can support themselves given limited earning opportunity. Maybe we hand the resorts back over to the mob?

Probably...I know that the Cuban community in Atlanta has for years oriented the new Cuban immigrants. Part of that is job placement, but also telling them that this is not Cuba and they will not be taken care of by the government-- that they have to earn their own way.
