I saw this morning that Trump said that the nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia was conditional on them normalizing relationships with Israel. That represents Trump's lacking any grasp of even recent history. I doubt that the US comprehends at all where China and Russia stand in their relationships within the middle east.
