Turns out Herman Cain may have been a bad boy.....

Normally, this would be worth discussing. But:
The women signed agreements with the association that included financial payouts and barred them from discussing their departures, according to the Politico report

So, how did it get out there if the women were barred from discussing it? He's certainly not wanting to discuss it. So if they're not talking about it, and he's not talking about it, what's there to discuss?

I'm sure more people were involved in the situation than just the Assn and the two women.

The fact that there were payouts certainly raises eyebrows...

Yes. Everyone just forget about Cain. A covered up accusation made over ten years ago is more than enough to remove him from consideration. We certainly wouldn't want a President that would take advantage of women while in the White House.

Ruh Roh.....

if he doesn't have a way to explain this away, how bad does it hurt??
Could be. Sometimes allegations are not going to withstand scrutiny in court and the accusers settle out of court. Sometimes, the perp does not want to see all the details dragged out in court, so the perp settles. Hard to tell which is closer to the truth in this case, since there is a nondisclosure agreement in place.
With Perry killing his chances by bailing on the debates, is it down to Romney and Paul?
Now that would be funny to watch.
Romney's got to be loving this.

Now that I've had time to check it out, two anonymous women revealed by an unnamed source reveals a story from 10 years ago in Cain's past. Sounds as fishy as a three day old carp left in the afternoon summer sun.

The problem isn't that he'd take advantage of women while in the White House, but it is that he took advantage BEFORE going to the White House. Huge difference. ;) But in seriousness, isn't it sad that the person who is the best at covering up usually wins?

You and I both know it doesn't matter. Unfortunately. I rather liked Cain.

You can probably find this on everyone. Says that is was talk and innuendo at a hotel prob over drinks. Things like this happen, right or wrong. I bet most of us have said some things to the opposite sex that if we were public figures might get us into legal troubles.

It sounds like he has backed off of this and will be taking part in most if not all.

i think he's [perry] decided to funnel beers before making any public appearances after seeing this weekends speech. i think cain is fast realizing, much like bible spice did, that not all of the attention you get in the national spotlight is good. we'll see if he can parlay that into a sweet 6 figure gig like caribou barbie did though.
