Wishing him well and I thank Ty for sticking around in an era where he could’ve easily went somewhere else, teams will take note of that.

My preferred spot is the Rams, not sure he’s a Day 1 starter yet and the Rams need to start drafting their Stafford replacement and learning from him and McVay is perfect.

He has said he's interested in coaching. In fact, he said he hopes to be the HC at Bama someday. So it will interesting to see how long he stays in the NFL and what path he takes to follow his coaching aspirations.

my thoughts were he's done enough to warrant a good draft grade and its not a great QB class. that's enough to go pro. I didn't think he would transfer, he's too " Bama", I know that doesn't mean much anymore, but for guys like TY, it still means something!

This had to be a tough decision for him. While this was a weaker than normal draft class for QBs, he could have also benefited from another year of development. With a potential stronger QB class next year plus the risk of injury, this probably made the most sense for him.

He did things the right way, and I'm sad to see him go. I hope he blows it up as an NFL QB.

Not really surprising. It does leave a huge amount questions for next season. Who emerges as the starter? We have to rebuild the OL so what is that going to look like? Can we get get back to the playoff with a new QB AND a new OL? We shall see.
