Natchez, Ms. USA
the murderer tried hard today to blast Condi over the war in Iraq. he acted like the idiot he is. his scotch intake has probably tripled since the election when the junior senator from Massachusetts got his *** handed to him by Dubya!

ol' Ted is over, and it's got to be driving him crazy that things like values and morals gave Bush the election. two things that the kennedys are very short on!

i don't know of anyone who thinks their own values are questionable--that would mean they don't value them very much. he's driven crazy bc he thinks bush is a dolt, can't believe we elected him, and is disappointed his party couldn't beat out a semi-literate freebasing cowboy wannabe.

That was just wrong.

He doesn't freebase. ;)

It's kind of funny, but sad, how post election attitudes have shaped up. Many of us considered the real possibility that Kerry could actually win the election. Many stated that if that happened, life would go on and we'd just try to do the best we can with what we have. It seems that people on the other side just can't let go of the hatred. It's sad that we've come to the point in America that such venomous language is used to describe the President of the United States. Folks are free to express themselves in any way they see fit, but it causes others to percieve you as bitter, hateful, wretches whose only goal in life is to spread poisonous venom. I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps Molly Ivins is a poster on this board. Seems like every opinion piece she writes is to bash the president, much like every thread gets hijacked to bash the president.

The only thing that has given me more joy than seeing W win is watching all of these hate-filled liberals squirm.

Keep sulking while the rest of the country moves on.

Here's one of my favorite pics of Ted. This appears to be either a shot of a Spring Break party in Palm Beach, or a trip to the bathroom following a heavily laden alcohol policy briefing in Hyannisport. At any rate, we are all indebted to Sen. Kennedy for his many years of dedicated public service. Here's to ya, Ted. Have one for the road. Or maybe not.

Looks like he is trying to run a slalom :eek2:

cav, the first words of the thread called ted a murderer. i don't take that as aspersive, just humorous hyperbole. if dubya didn't want to hear such things said about him he shouldn't have blown his mind on cocaine in the first place

The molly I comment is appropriate. She is defined by her hate.

AGGH! MY EYES!

Don't show me pictures of Teddy half naked when I just ate! Dagnabbit, my KID could have seen that!

Time to cut down on the Krispy Kremes, eh Ted?

he needs to put on a shirt or a bra!

good picture, vj! almost as good as the one with Bubba and his slob bro-in-law at the golf course!

how ya' doing? deer season is over. baseball is about to crank up.

my 3-yr. relationship with former sweet thang is also over..........her loss, not mine!

Anyone who goes for the Simpsons could probably enjoy Ted Kennedy. At times he gives me a few laughs, like the time somebody talked him into introducing a bill outlawing martial arts Kung Fu weapons. You know, those throwing stars, sticks-of-death, nunchuckus, ninja swords and knives --- the stuff Jackie Chan used to pound villains in martial arts movies. Teddy apparently believes those film special effects and camera tricks are real. His bill, though, simply disappeared somewhere in the labyrinths of Congress, or Teddy forgot about it when he sobered up.

Comic talent like that is rare in politicians.

Every king needs a court jester. George ought to invite him to the White House, give him one of those caps with bells, a paddle, a whoopee cushion and a hand buzzer, then turn him loose on the guests. Traditionally, a jester was permitted to say anything sassy to the king or his nobles without losing his head. Ted could spout his Democrat twaddle and get nothing in return but a roar of laughter.

Perhaps "murderer" was not the appropriate word to use because it was never actually "proven" to be such. I would probably have investigated it as manslaughter or negligent homicide had I been the investigator. Regardless, if you know the sordid details of Chappaquiddick and the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, you must admit that Ted Kennedy's actions, or lack of, were very questionable and probably criminal.

With Ted Kennedy's history (and a lot of his family, too), shots at Ted Kennedy are legitimate. And he did make an a$$ of himself during the Rice hearings (which I thought was the original topic of the thread). He seems to be quite adept at such. That being said, my point was that it seems every thread gets hijacked by the haters who despise George Bush so much it appears to control their very lives. The country endured eight years of Bill Clinton. I wasn't happy about his being elected but I didn't feel compelled to slit my wrists. Look to the horizon, it's only 4 more years. :BigA:
