Arian Foster snickered.

He sat down and peeled tape off his ankles.

Practice had just ended last week. The Tennessee starting tailback, a senior on the verge of becoming UT's all-time leading rusher, was requested for media interviews.

He had a demand: whoever interviewed him had to speak Pterodactyl, some made-up dinosaur language. No interview was conducted.
Is this guy one fry short of a Happy Meal or what? :eek2:

Actually, it's not a bad idea. It comes across as either wacky, crazy, or just funny. It doesn't come across as rude or arrogant, really. If he simply refused to be interviewed, it would almost certainly be taken that way.

Now I want to see someone request to be interviewed in Klingon or Elvish. Now that would be funny.

His mom, who posts on Gridscape as "Fostermom" (humor, I guess), has excellent command of English. I wouldn't be surprised if she were an English teacher. She ripped TennStud to pieces after he posted his little attack on Fulmer, Foster and some of the other starters...

He's probably tired of the same questions (why is the offense so bad? Why do you continue to fumble?) over and over again. Or, then again, he may have been in a hurry to meet phil at the Krispy Kreme.

Yes, that was a pleasant moment in history. For those who haven't read all that, search gridscape and find it for some excellent reading! Watching TennStud back down after getting it handed to him was really a thing of beauty!

Unless I'm badly mistaken, I heard something about this on TV as well, so it made big news.

I did read it, and it's well worth a look-see if you haven't already.
