We get the late game again

My wife and I were offered free tickets to the game. We discussed it last night and decided that our family plans take priority. I wish that I could pass them along to you guys.

What moron or morons decided that scheduling these games on New Years Eve was a good idea?

It's bizarre. Apparently ESPN fought hard to have the games moved to Saturday, January 2nd but the CFP wouldn't allow it.

We plan on having a big New Year's eve party with friends and family and watching the game. It will be fun to bring in the new year with a big Bama win.

I'm in a wedding that night. :mad2:

The bride's family, her included, are huge Alabama fans, so they are not all that happy with the game time. The wedding starts at 7:30 PM and since it's a NYE wedding, the reception will last until after midnight. Black tie and everything.

So, I'll need this game to be a Bama blowout since I'll miss a good portion of it. I'm trying to save my data usage as well so I'll have enough to stream the game on my phone if need be.
