where do you see us at 88? all the ones i see have us between 122 and 126.I also want to point out that our RPI rating jumped from 176 all the way to 88 this week. We can make the ncaa tourny this year if we keep winning. So come and join the fun and help make Bama a football and B-ball power.
Correction: Alabama's RPI as of today is 126. It's on the rise, but we're not in the top 100 yet.I also want to point out that our RPI rating jumped from 176 all the way to 88 this week. With that said, I'm excited about this team, and I'm glad to see our fans are jumping on board. Looks like we'll have a great crowd for the LSU game.
Sagarin's ratings that you are referencing are not the same as the RPI ratings. The ratings that you are pointing to are composites of two of Sagarin's ratings (ELO Chess & Predictor). ELO Chess is fairly close to the RPI because it does not take into account margin of victory. The NCAA may very well utilize his ratings, but they also use the RPI.OK, I went back and checked. The USA Today, Wednesday edition (yesterday) post the Sagarin RPI ratings and Bama is listed as 88. I believe this is what the ncaa uses.
