As I look at LSU and their offense and the way the team as a whole has played this year, it's difficult to think that Bama might actually lose this game. Look at how LSU's offense has faired in regulation this season vs. decent teams...
15 vs. Oregon State
9 vs. Auburn
16 vs. Georgia
24 vs. Florida
24 vs. Troy
24 vs. Vanderbilt
They struggled to get past the 20 point barrier against very weak defenses in FL, Vandy, and Troy, even though Troy is fairly decent. Looking at those numbers and the way LSU has turned the ball over this season and their FG kicking problems, why would there be any reason to believe that this offense can actually score more than a touchdown against our defense? Of course, our offense isn't exactly blowing people away at the moment, but our offensive line is playing eons better than their's right now and their best offensive lineman is OUT for this game. I don't want to say we will shut LSU out on Saturday, but looking at the way this series has gone and the way these teams have played this year, things are shaping up for another surprising Bama win in Baton Rouge, maybe by a large margin. RTR!!!
