No exaggeration, Travis Hunter might have more impactful touches of the football than any player in the NCAA this year. Goodness.
Idk what his Heisman odds are but he’s probably the most complete player (playing both sides at a high level) I’ve seen in a long time.

ETA- yes I know they play in the Big 12. But what he’s doing in major CFB is rarely done for a reason

It must be hard to play for Freeze with the way he throws his team under the bus. I hope those kids who flipped take notice
I fully expect him to do what he did last year and quit coaching and start recruiting. He’s an 8-4 or 7-5 coach. Take a look and see what I’m talking about. He made his mark because he beat CNS two years in a row. Albeit with balls ricocheting off players helmets. Once the rules were instituted, he and Gus became vulnerable. RTR

Very well could be true. I think by the time we play them our offense will give their defense fits.
Neither UT nor OU had an offensive line that could consistently block the other's defense. UT just had a QB who could make better adjustments. I thought UT played it smart by going conservative and running the clock. Their OL needs a lot of work...a lot.

And the fact he will be looking over his shoulder continuously to make sure Petrino doesn't bury a knife in his back.
Agreed. Petrino was shoved down Pittman’s throat by AD/Boosters. And many of those same boosters want Sam out and Road Rash Petrino as the head coach (again).

Imagine walking the sideline each Saturday with a guy that many want to give your job to? And Petrino’s play calling in that first half looked like he was trying to make it happen yesterday.

Many are calling out Freeze for, as they see it, “throwing players under the bus”. And while I agree he is ultimately to blame for the team’s performance and gets compensated greatly to win games, with NIL driving things now, players and fans best get accustomed to it. Not necessarily coaches, but you can bet the demeanor of fans will change.

It use to be people would say ”hey he is just a young man trying his best for the love of the game and the University”. Now it is “he is playing for dollars NIL and exposure it brings to his personal brand first, and most will hop in the portal and head elsewhere if something better comes along”.

Not saying it is right. Just saying that greater scrutiny of players will follow.

NFL coaches don't throw players under the bus. No manager worth a spit does. Pay has nothing to do with being a garbage human being.
