How do you guys see us doing against them? They usually play tough at home. Their preseason schedule was not that tough though.

Here's my two cents: 1) When we concentrate on defense it causes our offense to show up. We seem to get lazy on the outside...allowing good looks for the other team. 2) We need to attack...driving inside...this usually opens up the three. Instead we just passing it around the perimeter...most teams we face come out on us and make it hard for us to shoot the three. 3) We need better, more consistent play from ES. KW is starting to come on strong now.

What say ye?...

this will be THE toughest game of the year without a doubt and because it's a road game i'd imagine that we'll be atleast an 8pt dog. Arkansas has used its weak schedule to build a lot of confidence although they played illinois very well and lost to FL (the only 2 legit clubs on their schd so far).

this could be the most athletic team in the conf. and their 3's are falling at above 40% which means trouble for us.

the Lswho win was good only from the aspect of needing a win where we showed signs of life.

the hawgs will pressure us a lot and c. ferguson their guard is a one man trap. they are extremely agressive.

alot has to go our way to get a dub in bud walton, i know it seems like i'm talking them up too much, but after the way we have played lately and our past football season has led me to be more of a realist and less of an optimist.

we can win this game but its gonna take a great overall effort from everybody and with the way ES has played on the road i don't think we'll get that kind of participation.

here's to JD and RS picking up the slack and cancelling out the dissapearing act that we can expect from ES (not bashing him just check his road game stats)

here's the optimist Bama 74 ark 66
the realist arkies 73 Bama 61

I think every road game will be tough this year primarily b/c it will be Steele's first time to play there and Bud Walton is not an easy place to play, regardless of who your point guard is. I think we have to come out hot early otherwise it will be a repeat of Nashville in that the hole will get too big for us to climb out of. Last year we were down big and won in OT so hopefully the guys will remember that if we are behind big at any point. I see a fast paced wide open game and it might come down to the team who has the fewest turnovers. Both teams like to run so it should be exciting. RTR! Beat the pigs!

I think your group is about 2 years away from being major competitors, but I do hope you enjoy your visit to the NIT this year.........
