What does CNO do with the portal this year???

The big question though is even with us putting more in will it help. It sounds like many high level programs are putting more money into NIL funds for their teams. We were behind other before so even if we get up to their current level they had this year and they go up the same as us or even more we will still be behind. It’s like MLB the mid level teams are increasing their payroll last few years but the high level teams are increasing theirs by twice as much.
It’s not just NIL. Oats has to bring in some older, experienced 23 to 25 year olds and mix in European pros too.

I don’t think he fits in with CNO style though. He is probably a 4 put he isn’t a stretch 4 type player we use in our system. He has made 0 3 pointers so far in his career and only attempted a couple. I assume he want to get bigger and stronger but not lose his style on offense.
I totally agree, plus he was just a role player for UT, so I would like to have the Strata guy instead from UT, don't know his whole name but he fits more coaches style

That's certainly a fair assessment.

He has spent most of his career in the paint. Appears to be getting more and more comfortable there. Obviously, having had season-ending surgery, whatever growth/improvement for this year was only on display for a short period of time.

I do think he could contribute with his blocking/rebounding skills. He could also bring another level of experience and maturity to the roster. I don't expect him to be anything other than a 4, but apparently he could play the 5 if need be - or so I've read.

I have followed him over the past few years, just because of his pedigree, but i must admit, I haven't watched him play very often 'cause I just don't like orange. 😊

He does not fit but I think CNO now knows you need some blue collar muscle and rim protecting that Phillips can do. We are also going after ex 5* combo guard Jasper Johnson from Kentucky that Bama Hammer is predicting we land that fits like a glove.
